Our great passion is the perfect tuning of forks and dampers. Thanks to many years of experience in motor racing and our specialist knowledge, we develop a customized setup for every type of rider. BYB telemetry technology helps us to create the perfect setup.
We fill the dampers and some forks after service with the vacuum pump Provon Laba7. So we can be sure that the dampers are optimally vented.
We fill our dampers with nitrogen and not with air. This guarantees a more constant performance even at high temperatures.
We have two new Laba7 test stands in our workshop. One is a spring test bench, with which we can record the spring characteristic curve of forks and dampers. This is good for making comparisons with different numbers of volume spacers. The second test stand is a damper test stand, which we use to test the functionality of the dampers and forks. Furthermore, we use the test bench for comparisons with different valvings.
The BYB is a tool that is very often used in the professional field, especially in the Downhill World Cup. It records the movement of the chassis during the ride, and stores, for example, GPS position, braking behavior, etc.. After the ride, the data can be analyzed in detail on the laptop. The big advantage of BYB is that you can draw conclusions about the balance of the bike. Furthermore, it can also be installed for steel spring shock absorbers, since the tool is not connected to the air chamber.
ShockWiz is a tool that is connected to the air chamber and records the pressure curve during the ride. After the ride, various data can be read out on the app. Accordingly, it offers good support for finding the right setup. Since ShockWiz is connected to the air chamber, it cannot be used for steel spring shocks.
